Ahmad Almeghames

A member of the Developing Nations Committee since 2007, Ahmad Almeghames became Deputy Chair of the committee in January 2011. He was nominated by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).

He is currently the general secretary of SOCPA and a member of the National Board of Academic Assessment and Authentication at the Ministry of Higher Education. He has also chaired several boards and committees including the Board of Saudi Accounting Association and the Audit Committee of the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Almeghames graduated from Mississippi State University (United States) with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is a Fellow of the SOCPA in Saudia Arabia.
