Albert Au

Albert Au became a member of the IFAC Small and Medium Practices Committee in April 2009. He was nominated by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).

Mr. Au is currently the Chairman and CEO of BDO Limited. He is a Past President of the Council of the HKICPA. Mr Au is also the Honorary Treasurer and Board Director of Hong Kong Coalition of Professional Services Limited; the Independent Non-executive Director of the Hong Kong International Theme Parks Limited; and the Director of the Joint Professional Centre Limited.

Mr. Au has been appointed by the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to serve on the following public bodies: Corruption Prevention Advisory Committee of the Independent Commission Against Corruption; Air Transport Licensing Authority; Federation of Hong Kong Industries; Hong Kong Housing Authority; and Hong Kong Productivity Council.

Mr. Au is a Fellow of the HKIPCA and a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Society of Chinese Accountants & Auditors.
