Aldona Kamela-Sowinska

Aldona Kamela-Sowinska became a member of the Developing Nations Committee in January 2009. She was nominated by the Accountants Association in Poland.

A former Minister of the Treasury for the country of Poland, Ms. Kamela-Sowinska has over 30-years experience in academia and the public sector. Her current positions include Professor at the University of Economics in Poznań, Rector of the High School of Commerce and Accounting in Poznań and Chairman of the International Relations Commission of the Accountants Association in Poland.

She holds two Masters degrees, one in Economics and the other in Law, and a PhD in Economics.
