Angelo Casò

Angelo Casò became a member of the Compliance Advisory Panel in January 2010. He was nominated by the Consiglio Nazionale dei Dottori Commercialiti e degli Esperti Contabili. From 1995 to 2000, he served on IFAC's International Auditing Practices Committee, a precursor to the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board. Dr. Casò is also a former member of the IFAC Board, where he served from 2001 to 2005, and chair of the Small and Medium Practices (SMP) Working Group (the precursor to the SMP Committee), where he served until 2005.

With over 35 years of experience in accounting, Dr. Casò is currently senior partner at Studio Casò-Dottori Commercialisti Associati-specializing in financial restructuring for businesses, business evaluation, governance, and forensic accounting. He has held positions as Professor of Business Evaluation at the University of Brescia and Professor of Financial Restructuring at the University Luigi Bocconi.

Dr. Casò graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Luigi Bocconi. He is both a certified accountant (Dottore Commercialista) and an auditor (Revisore Contabile).
