Annette Köhler

Professor Annette Köhler joined the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board in January 2012. She was nominated by the Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer and the Wirtschaftsprüferkammer.

Professor Köhler holds a chair in accounting and auditing at the University of Duisburg-Essen. She presently serves as general secretary of the European Auditing Research Network and is a member of both the European Accounting Association and the American Accounting Association. Professor Köhler has taught accounting and auditing in several universities. She has also authored numerous articles featured in a number of accountancy journals.
