Brian Bluhm became a member of the Small and Medium Practices (SMP) Committee in January 2009 and deputy chair in January 2012. He had previously served as a technical advisor to the committee since 2006. He was nominated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Mr. Bluhm is a partner and Director of Assurance Services for Eide Bailly LLP. He is a past member of the US Auditing Standards Board and the AICPA’s Private Company Practice Section (PCPS) Technical Issues Committee (2003-2006) and National Peer Review Committee (2006-2008).

He has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion.
