Charles E. (Chuck) Landes joined the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board in January 2013. He was nominated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Mr. Landes is a vice president with the AICPA, where he directs the technical activities of the AICPA’s Audit and Attest Standards team, which is responsible for the technical activities of the Auditing Standards Board and the Accounting and Review Services Committee. Mr. Landes is also responsible for overseeing the activities of the AICPA’s Accounting and Financial Reporting team and the Business Reporting Assurance & Advisory Services team. He also serves as the AICPA’s representative to the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO).
