Clyde MacLellan, Canada, IAASB ISA 610 Task Force

Mr. MacLellan is an Assistant Auditor General within the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, the national legislative audit office of Canada. He is primarily responsible for a portfolio of audits of crown corporations, including the Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, Export Development Canada, Farm Credit Canada, the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, and the Standards Council of Canada.

Before joining the Office of the Auditor General of Canada in 1991, Mr. MacLellan was a lecturer of accounting and auditing courses in the undergraduate faculty of Commerce at Saint-Mary’s University (Canada). He also provided audit, accounting, tax, and business advisory services at Deloitte & Touche in Halifax, Canada.

Mr. MacLellan is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) and sits on  various task forces for the CICA.
