Datuk Wan Selamah joined the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board in January 2013. She was nominated by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. Wan Selamah has more than 30 years of experience in government accounting. As Accountant General of Malaysia, her current role entails serving as the chief accountant of the federal government responsible for the preparation of government accounts, including setting accounting standards and procedures, and handling transactions and processing.

She also currently sits on the Inland Revenue Board and several government-linked companies. She also chairs Association of Chartered Certified Accountants’ Public Sector Global Forum (previously known as the Public Sector Technical Committee).
