Dorothy Ngwira

Dorothy Ngwira became a member of the Small and Medium Practices Committee in January 2010. She was nominated by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Society of Accountants in Malawi (SOCAM).

Much of Ms. Ngwira's experience is in the area of audit and accountancy, gathered from over 23 years of experience at Graham Carr, an audit firm that is a member of Nexia International. In addition, she is the former president of SOCAM, where she has also served on several committees, including the Education and Training Committee, the Disciplinary Committee, and the Finance and Administration Committee. She was also an Executive Committee member of the East Central and Southern African Federation of Accountants.

Ms. Ngwira is a Fellow of the ACCA. She is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Malawi.
