Eduardo Ojeda is the CEO of Baker Tilly México. He has more than 35 years of experiences in auditing, taxes, and administration and was a partner at Peat, Marwick Mitchell and Co./KPMG, and a member of its Professional Practice Committee for Latin America. Mr. Ojeda’s was also the Chair of the Mexican Society of the Colegio de Contadores Públicos de México from 1996 to 1998.
He received his accountancy degree at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and is a Certified Public Accountant. He also received a degree in taxation from the Colegio de Contadores Públicos, and he has participated in several international academic programs, including at Stanford University, Harvard University, and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Ojeda is also a specialist in bankruptcy law, registered with the Federal Institute of Bankruptcy Specialists. He received a degree in insolvency law in 2006 from the Institute of the Federal Judiciary, Judicial School, the Mexican Bar Association, and the Federal Institute of Specialists Bankruptcy.
He has been member of the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos since 1971 and chaired the Executive Committee from 2008 to 2009. He has published several technical articles and has spoken at conferences and events in Central and South America, the US, Asia, and Europe. He is also a member of the board of directors of several corporations.
