Giuseppe Messina is the Director of Special Assignments at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

During his professional career he held various offices, including Director of International Affairs and Chief Executive Officer at Consiglio Nazionale dei Dottori Commercialisti e degli Esperti Contabili (CNDCEC), founder and Secretary General of Fédération des Experts-Comptables Mediterranéens, and founder and Secretary General of CILEA (Comité de Integración Latino Europa-América).

Mr. Messina is also a technical adviser of the Fédération des Experts Comptables Européens (FEE) Council on behalf of CNDCEC and Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic.

Mr. Messina has also previously served on multiple IFAC committees:  Small and Medium Practices (SMP), Nominating, Monitoring and Regulatory, and the precursor committee of the International Ethics Standards Board of Accounting.

Mr. Messina holds higher school certificates from both England and Italy and a master’s degree in philosophy from the University of Vincennes (France).
