    Gregory J. Anton joined the Nominating Committee in January 2014, having been nominated by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).

    Mr. Anton is the chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Anton Collins Mitchell LLP (ACM), a Denver, Colorado, based CPA firm with offices in Boulder, Denver, and Greeley, which he co-founded in July of 2002. He has provided assurance and advisory services primarily to small- and medium-sized enterprises based in the Rocky Mountain region of the US. His career as a CPA began with BDO USA, LLP, where he became an office managing partner in the Assurance Business Line.

    Mr. Anton has served on the Council and various committees of the AICPA, most recently as the chairman of the Board of Directors in 2011 and 2012. During his tenure on the AICPA Board, the AICPA formed the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants with its joint venture partner the Charted Institute of Management Accounts (CIMA) which launched the Chartered Global Management Accounted (CGMA) designation in January of 2012. He served on the joint venture Board and CIMA’s Counsel from inception of the designation through December 2013.

    Prior to his AICPA involvement, Mr. Anton was on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA) and served as chairman of the Board during its centennial year where he co-chaired the COCPA Foundation's Centennial Scholarship Campaign, which successfully raised over $1 million for college accounting scholarships. He is also the past chair of the University of Northern Colorado’s School of Accountancy Advisory Board.

    Mr. Anton is a Certified Public Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and received a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Northern Colorado.
