Henny Kapteijn

Henny Kapteijn became a member of the Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Committee in January 2011. She was nominated by Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants (NBA, formerly Royal NIVRA). She has previously served the PAIB Committee as a technical advisor.

Ms. Kapteijn is a non-executive director at Rabobank Den Haag and Achmea Investment Funds, where she is also chair. She is the owner of an independent consultancy practice where her clients include inancial institutions and pension funds. From 2007 to 2010, she served as an advisor to the European Commission on securities regulation and corporate governance. Previously, she was executive vice president at an asset management company and held positions at the Central Bank of the Netherlands and the European Central Bank.

Ms. Kapteijn is a Board member of the Program Council of the Controllers Institute (the Netherlands) and a member of NBA. She has a master's degree in economics and a post master's degree in accountancy.
