Hong Lou

Hong Lou became a member of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB) in January 2007. He is also a member of the IPSASB Consultative Group. He was nominated by the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Dr. Lou currently serves as deputy director general for the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China. He was director of the Regulation Research and Draft Division for the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China from 2000 to 2004.

He has a PhD in economics from the Economic Management School of Tsinghua University. He has also authored several publications on government accounting, treasury management and other accountancy issues.
