Hugh Evans

Hugh Evans became a member of the Professional Accountants in Business Committee in January 2012. He was nominated by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

The first 11 years Mr. Evans' career were spent working in a variety of predominantly finance line roles in manufacturing industry. He subsequently began working as a management consultant with Coopers & Lybrand in 1988, before joining Ernst & Young where he subsequently made partner.

From January 1999 until his retirement in June 2011, Mr. Evans has been a partner at Deloitte. During this time he held a number of leadership roles, including leading the finance consulting practice in both the UK and Europe and the manufacturing and life sciences industry practice in the UK.

Mr. Evans is a Fellow of CIMA and has served on its technical committee for a number of years.
