Jacques Potdevin became a member of the IFAC Board in November 2009. He was nominated by the Conseil Superieur de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables (CSOEC) and the Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes (CNCC).
Mr. Potdevin has a history of active involvement in the Fédération des Experts Comptables Européens (FEE): From 2006 to 2008, Mr. Potdevin was the president of FEE. He previously served the organization as deputy president and vice president.
Mr. Potdevin is the founder of JPA International, an international accounting network with more than 140 members in 50 countries. In addition, he has held memberships and leadership positions with various accounting organizations, including Compagnie des Conseils et Experts Financiers, the CSOEC, CNCC, and the Conseil National de la Comptabilité.
A certified public accountant for more than 35 years, Mr. Potdevin has also written and contributed to several published books on accountancy.
