Jacques Potdevin

Jacques Potdevin became a member of the IFAC Board in November 2009. He was nominated by the Conseil Superieur de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables and the Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes.

Mr. Potdevin has a history of active involvement in the Fédération des Experts Comptables Européens (FEE): From 2006-2008, Mr. Potdevin was the President of FEE. He previously served the organization as Deputy President and Vice President.

Mr. Potdevin is the founder of JPA International-an international accounting network with over 130 members in 40 countries. In addition, he has held memberships and leadership positions with various accounting organizations, including Compagnie des Conseils et Experts Financiers, the Conseil Supérieur de l'Ordre des Experts-comptables et Comptables Agréés, the Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes, and the Conseil National de la Comptabilité. 

A certified public accountant for nearly 35 years, Mr. Potdevin has also written and contributed to several published books on accountancy.
