James Dickson

After serving as a member of the Compliance Advisory Panel since 2008, James Dickson became chair in January 2013. He was nominated by CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Mr. Dickson has vast international career experience, particularly in the Asia-Pacific area, including development of the accountancy profession and working with regional and national accountancy bodies. During his career, he was involved in drafting several IFAC publications available for developing professional accountancy organizations.

Mr. Dickson is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program, Melbourne Business School, University of Melbourne (previously the Australian Administrative Staff College), a graduate of the Royal Australian Air Force Staff College, and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
