Jean-Claude Delespaul works for Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes and Conseil Supérieur de l'Ordre des Experts-Comptables managing their common department for international affairs: the DIPAC (International Auditing and Accounting Delegation), a department he set up.
Previously, Mr. Delespaul served in the Ministry of Economy and Finance for 12 years, with several assignments within the National Tax Administration and the tax bureau. Before he was promoted to director he also served for two years in the French Trade Commission in India. The French Treasury named him as the Financial Counselor for Asia, based in Tokyo, Japan, from 1984 to 1989.
After his return to France, Jean-Claude Delespaul was assigned as the deputy-secretary general of the French Securities Commission (then named COB), which was restructured as the Autorité des Marchés financiers (AMF) in 2003.
Mr. Delespaul studied economics and political science in Paris before he competed for admission to the French National Administrative College (ENA) where he was trained for two years before joining the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
