Jon Rowden is a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK, where he leads PwC’s XBRL services. Mr. Rowden is chairman of the XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) Assurance Working Group of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), which was created in 2009. He also serves as the deputy chair of the ICAEW’s ISA Implementation Group and chaired the ICAEW’s Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Advisory Panel from 2005 to 2008.

Mr. Rowden began his career in PwC’s assurance practice and worked for 12 years as an auditor in both the UK and Australia before focusing on the development and implementation of responses to new regulation affecting accountancy practitioners.
