Jonas Hällström

Jonas Hällström became a member of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) in January 2013. He was nominated by the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI). He previously served as technical advisor on the IAASB.

Mr. Hällström is a Chartered Accountant and works for the Swedish National Audit Office. He is Director of the INTOSAI Financial Audit Guidelines Subcommittee, where he is responsible for the development of public sector guidance related to the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and the application of the ISAs in the public sector.

Mr. Hällström has extensive experience of auditing within a major firm as well as from the public sector.
