José Raúl González Lima became a member of the Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Committee in January 2014. He was nominated by the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos, A.C. (IMCP).
With more than 20 years of experience as a professional accountant in business, and 16 years of experience in public accounting in Mexico and the US, Mr. González Lima currently serves as director of corporate financial reporting at Grupo Televisa, S.A.B., the largest media company in the Spanish-speaking world based on its market capitalization and a major participant in the international entertainment business. He was the chairman of the Public Company Committee of the Mexican Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2012, and he is currently the vice president of financial information for the committee. He is also a member of many professional organizations, such as the IMCP, the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives, and the Committee of Corporate Governance of the Mexican Business Coordinating Council.
Mr. González Lima is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Professional in Finance. He is a graduate of the Panamerican University at Mexico City with a Bachelor of Philosophy and a Master in History of Thinking. He also has a Bachelor of Public Accounting from La Salle University in Mexico City. He is a current professor of Corporate Governance at the Business School of the Panamerican University at Mexico City.
