Judy Tsui (on leave of absence)

Judy Tsui became a member of the Nominating Committee in 2012. She was nominated by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).
Professor Tsui is currently vice president, international and executive education, and Chair Professor of accounting at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is an honorary professor of the University of Warwick (UK) and a visiting professor at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (China). She was the first professor in accounting to be awarded the Cheung Kong Chair Professorship by China’s Ministry of Education.
Professor Tsui actively contributes to corporate governance issues, including co-authoring The Governance of East Asian Corporations—Post Asian Financial Crisis. She has published over 40 academic papers in prestigious journals.
Professor Tsui is a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government-appointed member of the University Grants Committee and the Research Grants Council. She is an independent, non-executive director of CLP in Hong Kong and a consultant of China Vanke in mainland China.
Professor Tsui is a Chartered Account. She is also a member of the Canadian Institute of Charted Accountants and a fellow of the HKICPA, the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, and the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries, and an honorary fellow of CPA Australia. She served on the Council of HKICPA from 2000 to 2004.
