Karin French is the national managing partner of professional standards for Grant Thornton LLP.  She oversees the development of the firm’s accounting and auditing guidance, which includes the integration of auditing standards into the firm’s audit methodology.

Ms. French represents Grant Thornton on the Standards Working Group, a sub-committee of the Global Public Policy Group, and on numerous committees and task forces sponsored by the Center for Audit Quality.

Ms. French is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. French has a Bachelor of Science in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and an MBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas.
