Kenji Izawa

Kenji Izawa joined the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB) in January 2012. He previously served as the technical advisor to the Japanese member of IPSASB from 2007 to 2011. He was nominated by the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA).

Since 2007, Mr. Izawa has served as the chair of the IFAC-IPSASB Working Group of JICPA, in charge of public sector accounting issues within JICPA. He has been involved in various accounting and auditing technical committees within JICPA.

Mr. Izawa also serves as a partner of Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC, Japan. He is an acting audit engagement partner to several Japanese public sector entities.
