Mr. Desmond has over 20 years of experience in the capital market transaction arena, including being seconded to a listing authority in 1993. He is also involved in the development of the financial reporting aspects of securities regulation both in the UK with the Financial Services Authority and Auditing Practices Board, as a member of its reporting accountants sub-committee, and in Europe with Fédération des Experts Comptables Européens and CESR (predecessor organization to the European Securities and Markets Authority).
