Mandi Olivier is currently the senior executive: professional development at the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants where she is responsible for all matters relating to professional development for Chartered Accountants (CA), including: development of the CA competency framework; monitoring and accreditation of education providers, including universities; development of professional examinations; development and implementation of matters related to training of prospective CAs (through monitored, practical work experience); and development and implementation of matters related to continuing professional development. Her role includes development of strategy as well as operational matters related to all of these aspects.

Ms. Olivier previously worked at Deloitte in South Africa where she was responsible for the learning and development needs of trainees, partners, and managers in audit and assurance.
