Marisa Orbea

Marisa Orbea became a member of the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants in January 2010. She was nominated by the Transnational Auditors Committee.

Since 2006, Ms. Orbea has been a Partner at Deloitte Australia, where she is in charge of auditor independence and conflicts of interest. She is also the Asia Pacific independence leader for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited global independence. 

Ms. Orbea has been a member of the Code of Ethics Task Force of the Accounting Professional & Ethical Standards Board of Australia since 2008. In addition, she is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia.

Ms. Orbea holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney (Australia).
