Nambayo Kalaluka

Nambayo Kalaluka was elected to the International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB) in January 2011. He was nominated by the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).

Mr. Kalaluka has over fifteen years’ post-qualifying experience and was a council member and chairman of the Education and Training Committee of ZICA until April 2010. He is a managing partner of MKM Solutions, a firm of chartered accountants, based in Lusaka, Zambia. Prior to joining MKM, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the firm’s offices in London, Zambia, Tanzania, and South Africa for a total of 12 years. His last post was chief operating officer (COO) for the Zambia office and director in charge of risk management services.

Mr. Kalaluka is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and ZICA. He has experience in the practice of accountancy and accountancy training, inlcuding presiding over the introduction of a local chartered accountancy qualification in Zambia.
