Nnamdi Okwuadigbo

Nnamdi A. Okwuadigbo was elected to the Small and Medium Practices Committee in January 2012. He was nominated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Mr. Okwuadigbo is the founder and managing partner of Nnamdi Okwuadigbo and Co. (Chartered Accountants) and has more than 30 years of experience in accounting, auditing, debt recovery, taxation, and business advisory and management consultancy. Previously, he worked as the financial controller/head of administration for Gearhart Nigeria Limited, an oil services company that is now part of Halliburton, and Coopers and Lybrand, now PwC. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 after working in the banking industry with Barclays Bank Nigeria Limited in the 1970s.
Mr. Okwuadigbo also serves as a member of the Nigerian Financial Reporting Council (formerly the Accounting Standards Board), ICAN’s Council, and previously served as a member of the Council of Business Recovery and Insolvency Association of Nigeria and as a member of the Council for the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
Mr. Okwuadigbo is a Fellow of ICAN and holds a B.Sc. Degree 2nd Class Upper Division in accountancy from the University of Nigeria.
