Nnamdi A. Okwuadigbo became a member of the IFAC Small and Medium Practices Committee in January 2012. He was nominated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Mr. Okwuadigbo is the founder and managing partner of Nnamdi Okwuadigbo and Co. (Chartered Accountants) and has more than 30 years of experience in accounting, auditing, debt recovery, taxation, business advisory, and management consultancy. Previously, he worked as the financial controller/head of administration for Gearhart Nigeria Limited, an oil services company that is now part of PwC. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1981 after working in the banking industry with Barclays Bank Nigeria Limited in the 1970s.
Mr. Okwuadigbo serves on ICAN’s Council, and previously served on the Nigerian Financial Reporting Council (formerly the Accounting Standards Board), the Council of Business Recovery and Insolvency Association of Nigeria, and the Council for the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
Mr. Okwuadigbo is a fellow of ICAN and holds a B.Sc. Degree 2nd Class Upper Division in accountancy from the University of Nigeria, graduating in June 1977
