Phoebe Yu became a member of the IFAC Compliance Advisory Panel in November 2011. She was nominated by ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). She is also a member of Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Phoebe graduated from Huazhong University of Science & Technology. She obtained her Master Degree in Accountancy from theChineseUniversityofHong Kong.

Phoebe has accumulated rich practical experiences and professional insights over the years through working for a wide range of companies, among whom are Deloitte (as Audit Manager), IBM Technical Product (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd (as Business Control Manager), Hubei Tianhua Shareholding Co., Ltd., (as CFO and Board Director), DeCoro Limited (as CFO) and Shenzhen Minrun Agriculture Product Distribution Chain Store Co. (as CFO). Currently Phoebe is Finance Director of Shenzhen Agricultural Products Co., LTD, providing and strong leadership and strategic guidance to this state-owned company.

Phoebe is the Chair of ACCA South China Steering Team. She is also regular speaker for ACCA’s events and conferences.
