Ricardo Rodil became a member of the Small and Medium Practices Committee in January 2007. He was nominated by the Instituto dos Auditores Independentes do Brasil (IBRACON) and Conselho Federal de Contabilidade (CFC).

Mr. Rodil is a partner of Baker Tilly Brasil and is the  Technical Advisor of the Accounting and Auditing Committee of  Baker Tilly/South American Region. He is also a member of a special task force at the United Nations Conference Trade and Development - Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting, whose worked in the basis for the International Accounting Standards Board's project for small and medium entities.

He is a member of SMEIG – Small and Medium Entities Implementation Group, formed by IASB to work on practical issues posed by IFRS for SMEs in the different jurisdictions around the world.


He has also been a professor of accounting and cost accounting at the University of Cordoba in Argentina.
