Roberto Resa

Roberto Resa became a member of the IFAC Board in November 2006. He previously served as Technical Advisor to members of the IFAC Board from 2002 to 2006.

Mr. Resa has over 25 years of experience as a public accountant. He is a Managing Partner at Resa y Asociados and a member of the Executive Committee of Jeffreys Henry International, a worldwide association of independent accounting firms. He served as a member of the National Executive Committee of the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos from 1990 to 1996 and as Chairman of the National Executive Committee from 1996 to 1997. He served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Interamerican Accounting Association (IAA), a regional organization recognized by IFAC, from 1997 to 2003 and was Chairman of the IAA's Technical Committee of Ethics.

Mr. Resa is a graduate of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and was named First Certified Public Accountant by the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos in September 1998.
