Roger Tabor became chair of the Professional Accountants in Business Committee in February 2009 after serving on the committee since 2004. He was nominated by the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies, the consortium of major accountancy professional bodies in the UK and Ireland.

Mr. Tabor is the former enterprise system programme director for Royal Mail plc in the UK. Immediately prior to this role, he was the finance director of Post Office Counters Ltd., after serving in various senior roles in the British Post Office. In addition, he previously chaired the Public Health Laboratory Service Board.

From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Tabor was President of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), having previously served as chair of CIPFA’s Technical Committee.
