Stefano Marchese

Stefano Marchese became a member of the International Ethics Standards Board of Accountants in January 2012. He was nominated by Consiglio Nazionale dei Dottori Commercialisti e Degli Esperti Contabili (CNDCEC).

Mr. Marchese is a senior partner at Studio Marchese, Grassi & Associati in Genoa and Milan, Italy, where he specializes in international tax and company law. He is a board member of CNDCEC, where he also serves as chair of the Ethics committee, overseeing the of drafting the new ethics code and competition affairs.

Previously, Mr. Marchese served as the representative of CNDCEC on the International Accounting Education Standards Board and as a technical advisor on the IFAC Board in 2000 and 2003–2004.

Mr. Marchese is a graduate of the University of Genoa.
