Stephen Lugalia

Stephen Lugalia became a member of the Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Committee in January 2008. He was nominated by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

Mr. Lugalia currently serves as director of finance and administration at The Heritage Insurance Company Limited, where he started as an accountant in 1997. Prior to this, Mr. Lugalia spent twelve years with Coopers & Lybrand as a training manager and audit manager.

Mr. Lugalia is currently the chairman of the ICPAK Council. In addition, Mr. Lugalia is a board member of the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board, a government board that trains and tests students for accountant and secretary positions. Mr. Lugalia is also a board member of the Institute of Directors in Kenya.

Mr. Lugalia has also served on many ICPAK committees, including the Students Advisory and Library Committee and the Education Committee.
