Stuart Black

Stuart Black became a member of the SMP Committee in January 2009. He was nominated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, CPA Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants, the three recognized professional bodies in Australia.

Mr. Black is managing partner of the Sydney based accounting firm Chapman Eastway, a small to medium sized practice of four partners. He has over 35 years experience in business services and holds a number of public company and not for profit directorships. He is a Fellow and a Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Fellow of CPA Australia, the Tax Institute of Australia and the Institute of Company Directors, as well as a board member of the Australian Accounting Professional & Ethical Standards Board.

Mr Black holds a Bachelor of Arts (Accountancy) from Macquarie University.
