Sue Almond is technical director of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), responsible for influencing and driving debate and thinking on technical issues affecting business and accountancy around the world. Ms. Almond is a member of the ACCA and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Before joining ACCA, Ms. Almond was director of quality and professional standards with Kreston International, a global accounting network and member of the Forum of Firms, where she was responsible for global quality monitoring and audit methodology matters. Prior to this, Ms. Almond was national assurance services partner with Grant Thornton UK where she led the development and implementation of the firm’s audit methodology and tools.
