Ms. Smith is a Partner with KPMG Canada LLP. Since 2006, she has been seconded to the KPMG International Standards Group in London, UK where she is the Global ISA Network Leader. Ms. Smith works with professional practice partners from KPMG Member Firms and various Global Panels and Steering Groups to develop audit related policies, guidance and training aimed at improving audit quality and addressing risk management issues.

Ms. Smith is a member of the IFAC Transnational Auditors Committee. From 2003 to 2010, she was an IAASB technical advisor. Prior to joining KPMG Canada, Ms. Smith was the Director of Accounting Standards at the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
