Tim Youngberry

Tim Youngberry became a member of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB) in January 2010. He was nominated by CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Mr. Youngberry currently holds the position of First Assistant Secretary, Financial Reporting and Cash Management at the Australian Government's Department of Finance and Deregulation and is responsible for government financial reporting, appropriations management, accounting policy, and budget framework. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Defence Materiel Organisation and the Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.

Mr. Youngberry graduated from the University of New England Northern Rivers with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting in 1993 and received his CPA designation from CPA Australia in 1998. Mr. Youngberry also participated in the Executive Fellows Program at the Australia and New Zealand School of Government.
