Tim Youngberry became a member of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board in January 2010. He was nominated by CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA).

Mr. Youngberry currently holds the position of first assistant secretary, program director–Central Budget Management System Redevelopment at the Australian government's Department of Finance and Deregulation. In this role he is responsible for the program of work to redevelop the system used for whole of government budgeting, financial reporting, and appropriations management. He was previously responsible for government financial reporting, appropriations management, accounting policy, and budget framework and has served as chief financial officer for two large Australian government agencies, the Defence Materiel Organisation and the Department of Families, Community Services, and Indigenous Affairs.

Mr. Youngberry graduated from the University of New England Northern Rivers with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting in 1993 and received his CPA designation from CPA Australia in 1998. Mr. Youngberry also participated in the Executive Fellows Program at the Australia and New Zealand School of Government. He is a Fellow of both CPA Australia and the ICAA.
