Valdir Coscodai

In January 2010, Valdir Coscodai became a member of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB), to which he has served as a technical advisor since 2009. He was nominated jointly by the Instituto dos Auditores Independentes do Brasil (IBRACON) and the Conselho Federal de Contabilidade (CFC).

With 25 years of experience in the profession, Mr. Coscodai is a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he has worked extensively with small and medium-sized entities and the public sector. In addition, he currently serves as the director of IBRACON, where he is also a member of the National Commission of Technical Standards.

Mr. Coscodai is a member of both the CFC Brazilian Accounting Standards Task Force and the Administrative Committee of the External Quality Review Program (peer review program). From 2004 to 2006, he was a member of the Accounting Standards Advisory Commission of the Brazilian Securities Commission.

Mr. Coscodai has an MBA in finance from the Instituto Brasileiro de Mercado de Capitais in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
