New Zealand Aid Programme
The New Zealand Aid Programme (NZAID) is a division of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. It was previously a semi-autonomous body, and was reintegrated back into the Ministry as the International Development Group following a restructure in 2009. NZAID’s mission is to “support sustainable development in order to reduce poverty and contribute to a more secure, equitable and prosperous world,” which includes allocating aid to activities and projects that are likely to result in tangible differences to the quality of people’s lives—particularly in the Pacific region.
Additional information is available on the NZAID website.
