IFAC: Key Initiatives to Strengthen the Global Accountancy Profession

I am here, today, to discuss initiatives of the International Federation of Accountants, and, in particular, our support for accountancy firms. My comments will be presented in the context of what I believe is our profession's most important goal - that is, to improve the standard of living and to create better environments for the world's citizens. A lofty goal, indeed, but also, I believe, an achievable one.
