Deadline Extended: IFAC Survey on International Alignment of Risk Management and Internal Control Guidelines

IFAC has extended the deadline to participate in its survey to assess the need for international alignment of risk management and internal control guidelines. So far, over 300 respondents from around the world have weighed in. Don't let your views go unheard! To complete the survey, which should take no more than 20 minutes, go to http://vovici.com/wsb.dll/s/139f1g44f0a, by July 31, 2010. 

The survey is being conducted by the IFAC Professional Accountants in Business Committee with the assistance of the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO). Through the survey, they seek to:

• Investigate how risk management and internal control frameworks, standards, and/or guidance are used around the globe;
• Identify the strengths and weaknesses of existing risk management and internal control systems; and
• Determine the need for international alignment among the various national frameworks, standards, and guidance that already exist in this area.
