The Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Committee serves IFAC member bodies and the more than one million professional accountants worldwide who work in commerce, industry, the public sector, education, and the not-for-profit sector. The committee facilitates the global development and sharing of knowledge, develops good practice guidance, and promotes the roles and domain of professional accountants in business.

Guidance

The PAIB Committee is developing two new types of principles-based good practice guidance: International Management Accounting Statements and International Good Practice Guidance. These new guidance documents establish fundamental principles and provide supporting application guidance to reflect good practice. They also signpost other sources of relevant information.
