Clark Anstis became the Technical Advisor to the Australian member of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board again in 2017, having undertaken that role previously for a four-year stint from 2009-2013.

Mr. Anstis is Technical Principal with the Australian Accounting Standards Board, having worked in accounting standard-setting roles since 1987 primarily in Australia, the USA and the UK.  His principal responsibilities at the AASB involve providing technical advice on major projects that address public sector accounting. Mr. Anstis has been involved with various financial reporting issues over the years, including managing the work of the former Urgent Issues Group of the AASB from 2000 to 2006.

Prior to becoming a standard setter, Mr. Anstis worked principally for a predecessor firm of Ernst & Young in auditing, technical and education roles, working in Melbourne, Singapore and Indonesia.
