Jakob Prammer

Title: Technical Advisor for Bernhard Schatz

Jakob Prammer became an IPSASB technical advisor in January 2016. He was nominated by the Austrian Ministry of Finance.

He works for the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance at the department for budgetary planning and management accounting. In his position, he is responsible for reporting on long-term budgetary projections and federal public sector companies. He is part of different working groups on financial public sector reform including accounting standards and federal budget reform.

Recently, he coordinated a team of public sector accounting experts that developed an online accounting manual for all regional authorities.

Mr. Prammer has degrees in economics and business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

He supports Board Member Bernhard Schatz.
