Mariano D'Amore became a public member of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board in January 2010. His nomination was submitted by Consiglio Nazionale dei Dottori Commercialisti e degli Esperti Contabili.
Mr. D’Amore is currently a professor of Accounting at Parthenope University of Naples, where he heads the Department of Accounting, Management and Economics. He has lectured extensively, both nationally and internationally, on public sector accounting and management topics. He has also served as a member on boards within the governance of several local governments and government business enterprises.
Mr. D’Amore received a Ph.D. in Concern Economics from University of Naples "Federico II."
