Michel Camoin became a member of The International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board in January 2015. He was nominated by Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes (CNCC).
Mr. Camoin is an advisor in the French General Accounting Office, director of external audit for the International Criminal Court (ICC) and for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and member of the external audit team for the Council of Europe.
From 2013 to 2019, he was director of external audit for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO). He also served as chairman of the board of auditors of Eurocontrol and as a member of France’s Securities Regulatory Authority and of France’s Accounting Standards Authority.
From 1999 to 2013 Mr. Camoin was head of the Aerospace and Defense unit at the French General Accounting Office. He also served as chairman of the board of auditors of the European Patent Office (EPO) and director of external audit for the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
From 1987 to 1994 Mr. Camoin served in a variety of executive positions for Crédit Lyonnais.
He is a graduate of the French National School of Administration and the Paris Institute of Political Science.
