Neema Kiure-Mssusa

Neema Kiure-Mssusa joined the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (IPSASB) in January 2018 as a self-nominee. She previously served as a member of IPSASB Consultative Advisory Group from 2016 to 2017, nominated by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA).

Ms. Kiure-Mssusa is the team leader in the Tanzanian Government project to ensure compliance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS). In 2008, she assisted the Tanzanian Local Government Authorities on IPSAS projects, and since then has been working closely with the NBAA and Tanzanian Central Government to ensure smooth migration from cash basis IPSAS to IPSAS accrual. She is a member of the Tanzania IPSAS Steering Committee.

Ms. Kiure-Mssusa also serves as a partner of Ernst & Young, Tanzania where she is an audit engagement partner to several Tanzanian public sector entities.
